Nordic Spirit Symposium 2008: "Myths, Digs and Saga Kings: A New Look at the Viking Age

The attached press release provides information regarding the musical offerings of the 9th Annual Nordic Spirit Symposium. The splendid talents of American soprano Elly Erickson and Swedish pianist Samuel Skönberg will be showcased on Friday evening as the artists present "A Nordic Tapestry: An Evening of Scandinavian Song." Skönberg will take the stage again on Saturday afternoon as he brings the symposium to a musical close with his "Nordic Piano Favorites" featuring musical selections by Grieg, Sibelius, Stenhammar and Peterson-Berger.
