The first annual Nordic Green event was by all standards a huge hit

On April 21-22, Silicon Valley's SRI International hosted Nordic Green '08, the first-ever large scale convergence of Nordic clean tech startups and market leaders with Silicon Valley's new generation of clean tech innovators.

Over 260 participants took part in the packed 2-day program featuring over 40 Nordic companies and 70 guest speakers, sparking a dialogue on how Nordic countries and California can connect to develop new collaborative clean techology solutions.

What started out as a Silicon Vikings event turned into large joint venture. A big thank you to SRI International, AlwaysOn, Innovation Center Denmark, Finnode, Innovation Norway, Vinnova and Enterprise Estonia for putting together this great event. This could never have been such a success without the dynamic support of the sponsors, the organizers, the speakers and the participants from the Nordic countries and Silicon Valley.
