Founded in 2007 as a spin-off from Swedish RFID-innovator Cypak, Yubico developed the YubiKey, a simple token created for people to be safe online, to protect your identity and keep it safe in your own pocket. Yubico's mission is to make Internet identification secure, easy and affordable for everyone.

Stina Ehrensvärd, CEO & Founder of Yubico, is an award winning IT-innovator and product designer. She is a former Founder of, and VP Marketing of, the "paper computer" company Cypak. . Honored by Fortune Magazine and the European Commission for excellence in IT innovation, Stina was selected by the Swedish IT industry as IT personality of the year in 2005.
