The Vinnova Stanford Research Center of Innovation Journalism at Stanford is announcing IJ-6 the Sixth Conference on Innovation Journalism which is happening at Stanford May 18-20. This year features fewer keynotes and more workshops. The conference will be much more interactive. The conference will be a discussion among the participants, and will produce recommendations on how journalism can improve. All stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem with an interest in journalism are welcome to take part in the conference.

May 20 keynotes includes: Vint Cerf, father of the Internet and VP of Google, will talk about the economics and technologies of journalism and Curtis Carlson, President of SRI International and innovation guru will be chatting with G. Pascal Zachary, known from innovation columns in New York Times and other publications on the theme 'Journalism: For Innovation or Against?'.

On May 20 comes another novelty at IJ-6: a special conference track for academic research. It will be opened by Anders Flodström, Chancellor of the Swedish University System, and a member of the Governing Board of the European Institute for Innovation and Technology.
