01/29: SACC SF Luncheon: with Maria Ayerdi-Kaplan – executive director of the Transday Joint Powers Authority

SACC-SF invites Silicon Vikings members to their January 29th at 12 noon Monthly Luncheon at Absinthe Brasserie & Bar at 398 Hayes Street San Francisco. Guest speaker this month is Ms. Ayerdi-Kaplan. Ayerdi-Kaplan is the Executive Director for Transbay Joint Powers Authority and in charge of the Transbay Transit Center Project – the largest approved public transportation project in the country. The $4.2 billion project will replace the current Transbay Terminal at First and Mission streets in San Francisco and the recreate the city center as we know it. Ms. Ayerdi-Kaplan has been twice named one of the Most Influential Women in the Public Sector by the San Francisco Business Times and was named the 2007 Employee of the Year by the Northern California Chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO).
