Virtutech was founded in 1998 to continue developing work first started at Swedish Institute of Computer Science, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), on a simulator to support computer architecture and operating system research, eventually named “Simics” (short for “the SICS Simulator”). Peter was the founder and CEO of Virtutech for many years, helping the company to become the dominating third-party full system simulation system, with a stellar cast of customers over the years including Sun Microsystems, Ericsson, AMD, HP, IBM, Cisco, Freescale, and Honeywell. In 2010, Wind River, an Intel subsidiary, acquitted Virtutech.

Peter is currently Vice President of Marketing at Conformiq, Saratoga.
