Finland Competition

The applications are now open for the Finnish round of New Nordics Pitch Competition 2023. Organized once again by the Tampere-based Platform6 startup house, the competition welcomes all growth companies with the Finnish business ID that are currently fundraising and want to enter the US market. While this year there is no specific industry focus, startups should have a disruptive potential and solve a real problem. Step into the world of innovation at the New Nordics Pitch Competition, brought to you by Silicon Vikings!

​​​​​​​This Finland Final marks the beginning of a remarkable journey towards the highly-coveted Grand Final, where only the best of the best from the Regional Finals will have the privilege to compete for the prestigious title of New Nordics Grand Champion. Mark your calendars for the Finland Final on October 18. The winner will also get one ticket for the Slush conference! If that wasn't all, in addition our collaborator Infobip will offer one lucky startup to receive the Talk the Walk award, granting them 5,000€ in Infobip products and credits.

This year's winner, Commu, celebrates the remarkable achievement of co-founder and CMO Karoliina Kauhanen. Their innovative app unites communities, offering help, support, and hope one act of goodwill at a time.

Last year's Finnish winner, Laura Koivusalo, amaze the world with her groundbreaking work at StemSight. Her innovative approach to curing blindness using regenerative cell therapies brings hope to many that suffer from corneal blindness.
