About New Nordics Pitch Competition

Silicon Vikings annually hosts the New Nordics Pitch Competition, a pan-Nordic and Baltic pitch competition that gathers the best startups/scaleups of the New Nordics.

The competition provides a platform for innovative startups in the Nordics and Baltics to pitch their innovations to a panel of expert judges, investors, and industry leaders.
The regional winners will participate in the Grand Final, in which they will compete to become the New Nordics Grand Champion.

We are looking for startup teams who show resilience with a global mindset and that are looking to raise funds. Your team should have outlined a strong mission and developed a scalable business model while entering the US market is one of your most natural goals. Your startup should have a functioning product with traction/feedback, a strong team, and be ready for investment.

the New Nordics Pitch Competition is Back For its 2023 finals

Competition & Criteria

We are looking for startups in the pre-seed, seed or early stage phase, with a minimum viable product at hand. To qualify for the competition your startup must be based in the Nordic or Baltic countries and have a unique and innovative idea that solves a real problem and has the potential to disrupt or transform the industry.

The regional finalists and winners are selected by the rating given by regional juries. The regional jury members will rate each finalist according to a scoring based on the following: idea, ability to scale, business plan, traction, competitive advantage, market needs, presentation, team, and the ability to solve real world problems. The juries have the final say in their selection of finalists and winners. Winners from each region shall be prepared to compete in the Grand Final.
