Silicon Vikings is a 45,000+ network that connects Nordic and Baltic Innovation with Silicon Valley and vice versa. We are a nonprofit organization that has been headquartered in Silicon Valley since 1997 with nodes throughout the Nordic and Baltic region and we act as a bridge between regions.

We organize approximately 20-25 events in the Bay Area each year in addition to cross-border events with our nodes and partners in the Nordics to better connect the two regions. We organize pitching events and pitching competitions in the Nordics/Baltics & in Silicon Valley.

Mentoring

In response to the current pandemic and upcoming recession, Silicon Vikings is gathering together the smartest, most experienced minds in our network to mentor startups for free! Why struggle with re-inventing the wheel on your own, when you can get insights from our most experienced and successful venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, industry experts, sales experts, etc.

Study Tour

While known as ground zero of innovative ideas, disruptive technologies and entrepreneurship for decades, the sands are shifting in such a way that new opportunities are being created for other ecosystems outside of Silicon Valley. Learn where the opportunities exist and how to leverage them. We will take you on a behind the scenes look at the changing Silicon Valley ecosystem to hear what lies ahead from thought-leaders.

Events

Silicon Vikings hosts events in Silicon Valley and the regional Nodes throughout the year meant to help US and Nordic/Baltic companies looking for startups to partner with or potentially invest in. Our events include pitch nights for visiting Nordic & Baltic accelerator and incubator programs to pitch to a panel of local Silicon Valley venture capitalists, panel discussions, interviews with tech leaders, as well as our annual State of Nordic Tech event which showcases the full spectrum of Nordic technology in Silicon Valley/San Francisco.
